Titian
Titian [Tiziano Vecellio] (ca 1488-1576) Venus and the Lute Player (1565–70) Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, Munsey Fund, 1936Venus and Cupid with an Organist och Venus and the Lute Player är variationer på samma tema, Venus of Urbino (1538). Man har spekulerat i om det finns någon mer symbolisk betydelse, vid sidan av den idealiserade gudinnan. Se exempelvis Wikipedia.
